Designed by Richard Sapper
Made by Alessi.
In the first collaboration of its kind, Alessi joined the forces of former Mercedes-Benz designer Richard Sapper with several of Europe’s leading chefs, including two members of the legendary Troisgros dynasty.
Using eight chefs in total, over a course of eight years, the pans were meticulously developed. The ‘Orion’s Belt’ range of pans was inspired by those described by Vatican chef Bartolomeo Scappi in 1570, with the adaptive used of modern techniques and materials.
• The trilaminate model combines AISI 430 steel with aluminium to ensure even heating, also with a stainless steel lining, and has the added benefit of being suitable for electric hot plates and easier to clean.
Manufactured in stainless steel and aluminium.
