The famous and comprehensive Cylinda Line range, designed between 1964-67, is a great example not only of Jacobsen's obsession with cohesion, but also his dedication to balance.
Despite a lukewarm reaction commercially when it was designed, the Cylinda Line range has since become another iconic Jacobsen design even though, as legend has it, the entire range was scribbled onto the back of a paper napkin over dinner in less than 10 minutes!
